DeltaReview is a code review tool that analyzes before-and-after code changes and returns structured feedback on bugs, security risks, performance, and complexity. This privacy policy explains how your data is handled when you use the tool at https://delta-review.vercel.app.

What You Submit

When you use DeltaReview, you type or paste code diffs directly into the tool. This is the primary input the tool processes.

How Your Data Is Used

The code you submit is sent to the Groq API solely for the purpose of generating feedback. Groq operates as an inference engine and, to my knowledge, does not use API-submitted data to train its own models. DeltaReview does not store, log, or retain any code you submit. Once a response is returned, your input is not saved anywhere on my end.

Report a Bug / Request a Feature

DeltaReview includes an optional feature that lets you report a bug or request a feature directly from the app. If you use this feature, it will:

• Capture a screenshot of your current screen, which is shown to you before sending — review it to make sure it doesn't show anything (including pasted code) you don't want to share
• Collect basic session information: the page you were on, your browser/device type, screen size, and the time of the report
• Send the screenshot and description you write to two third-party services I use to manage reports: ImgBB (image hosting) and GitHub (issue tracking)

This feature is entirely optional — it only activates if you click the Report button and choose to submit. Reports may be visible in DeltaReview's GitHub issue tracker depending on the repository's visibility settings.

Infrastructure

DeltaReview is deployed on Vercel. As with any web service, Vercel's infrastructure may log standard request metadata such as IP addresses and timestamps as part of normal server operations. This is handled by Vercel and is outside of my control. Vercel Analytics is not enabled on this project.

No User Accounts

DeltaReview does not require you to create an account and does not directly ask for personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or location. Note that if you choose to use the optional bug/feature report tool, the screenshot it captures could incidentally include whatever is visible on your screen at that moment.

Cookies & Tracking

DeltaReview does not use cookies, tracking pixels, or any third-party analytics tools. The report feature uses your browser's local session storage only to prevent repeated submissions in a short period of time; this stays on your device and is not sent anywhere.

Children's Privacy

DeltaReview is not directed at children under the age of 13 and I do not knowingly collect any information from them.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
