Terms of Service

DeltaReview

Last updated: September 26, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DeltaReview (the "Service"), built and operated by me, Rida Rahim ("I," "me," "my"), an individual sole proprietor based in New York, USA. DeltaReview is not currently operated under any LLC or corporate entity.

By accessing or using DeltaReview, including pasting, uploading, or submitting code, diffs, or related content, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

DeltaReview accepts source code and diffs from you and returns AI-generated analysis, review commentary, or related output. The Service is provided free of charge. I may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.

2. No Account Required

DeltaReview does not require account registration to use its core diff-analysis functionality. Any identifiers generated during use (such as session tokens or temporary links) exist only to operate the Service and are not tied to a persistent user profile unless you separately submit a bug or feature report (see Section 6).

3. Your Content

Ownership. You retain all ownership rights to the source code, snippets, and diffs you submit ("Your Content"). I claim no ownership over it.

License to me. By submitting Your Content, you grant me a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you, including sending it to my third-party AI processing provider as described in Section 5.

Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for having the legal right to submit it. Do not submit code that is malicious (malware, exploits, obfuscated attacks), that you don't have the legal right to share (e.g., confidential employer code under an NDA, stolen or unlicensed code), or that infringes another party's rights.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to develop, test, or distribute malware or attack tools
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse DeltaReview's infrastructure or API endpoints
  • Submit code you are not legally authorized to share
  • Use automated means to overload or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law

I reserve the right to block access for any user I reasonably believe is violating these Terms.

5. Third-Party AI Processing

Code and diffs you submit are sent to Groq (a third-party AI inference provider) for analysis. Groq operates as an inference engine and, to my knowledge, does not use API-submitted data to train its own models. I do not control Groq's infrastructure and am not responsible for their handling of data beyond what's disclosed in my Privacy Policy. Do not submit code you are not comfortable transmitting to a third-party processor.

6. Bug & Feature Reports

If you use the "report a bug / request a feature" function, I collect session information and a screenshot at the time of your report. Screenshots are stored via ImgBB, and the report itself (including any session details) is stored as an issue on GitHub. These platforms are third-party services with their own terms and privacy practices. Do not include sensitive, confidential, or proprietary information in a bug/feature report screenshot.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. I do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated analysis will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose. You are responsible for independently verifying any output before relying on it.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, code, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service, including any loss resulting from code transmitted to or processed by third-party providers (including Groq, ImgBB, or GitHub). The Service is free; my total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed $0.

This cap applies only to my liability to you. It does not limit your indemnification obligations to me under Section 9.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold me harmless from any claims, damages, expenses, and legal fees (uncapped, and not limited by Section 8) arising from: (a) Your Content, (b) your violation of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third party's rights (including intellectual property or confidentiality rights in code you submit). This means that if a third party (such as your employer) brings a claim against me because of something you submitted or did, you are responsible for covering my resulting legal costs, regardless of the $0 liability cap in Section 8, which protects only your claims against me.

10. Termination

I may terminate or restrict your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.

12. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
